TOMI MALM
Tomi Malm has been playing music since the age of four when he began his first piano lessons. He was soon encouraged to pursue a career as a classical pianist, and studied hard to rise above the standards. He played in competitions and managed to perform in some major venues. Later he showed in jazz and popular music and started to listen intensively to Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, Duke Ellington, Weather Report and Joni Mitchell. URS WIESENDANGER
At the age of three Urs started playing little melodies on the piano. Later he developed a great passion for playing drums. With his teacher Pierre Favre he began to target a career as a jazz drummer. At the young age of 12 he was already touring with the Big Band of Fernsehen DRS, the national TV station, and was soon regarded as one of the greatest young talents of the Swiss music scene.
